Lorenzo Hard hitting hardcore-laced death metal bringing an unbridled aggression to the beatdown. A distinctive raw edge cuts through the entirety of the album, and is certainly appreciable in the rough vocals. Even further bloodied, the chainsaw guitar tone carves deeper into the listener with violent intent.

Clearly influenced by mid-later 90s melodeath (and Swedeath), this album offers both quick rippers and more structured songs to the frenzy that jump up the variety.

SALEM0666 new to OSDM but this has become a daily listen for me. love the reverb drenched vocals and instrumentation, there’s a lot of wicked riffs and switch ups in this album.
pair that with the album art (and the vinyl variant) and it was an immediate purchase from me.

Hussar1982 This EP stands alone in terms of new standards for the new wave of OSDM. Spinebreaker has officially set the bar. Easily the best release of 2023 so far🤘

An outstanding Extreme doom death album, in the best tradition. The funerary atmosphere reminds of Evoken ('Centuries of ooze" bears striking similarities, for my delight). It is overall sharp, dark, hypnotic and unrelenting. One of those rare convincing new bands that hold proud the legacy of the biggest names. Bertrand Marchal
